Some songs we’d like to see...
How many people out there remember Wacky Packages? Those things came out when I was a little kid and my friends and I used to have a blast buying and trading them. Soon after that as we got a bit older we started to come up with names that would parody popular songs of the era. No doubt everyone reading this column has heard of Weird Al Yankovic who made parodying of pop culture songs famous in the late 1970’s and well into the 1980’s. I decided to come up with a few new parodies of my own or at least the names of a few songs and the method behind the madness. I’ll leave the song writing up to the experts though. Weird Al, are you out there. :-)
Song Sung Blue by Neil Diamond now becomes “Selsun Blue”. A perfecting song for a marketing campaign for everyone’s favorite dandruff shampoo.
Let It Rain by Eric Clapton now becomes “Let It Drain”. A song about a clogged bathtub and kitchen sink requiring copious amounts of Drano to open up the clogs.
Fame by David Bowie becomes “Flame”. A story about a young English lad (a singer of course) that comes out of the closet during his college years.
Dance The Night Away by Van Halen becomes “Prance The Night Away”. A story about a ballet dancer that hopes to make it to the big time.
Tales Of Brave Ulysses by Cream becomes “Tales Of Cowardly Ulysses”. The story of a mythological Greek General that turns tale and runs before his army has a chance to haul a Trojan Horse to the gates of the city of Troy.
I Saw The Light by Todd Rundgren becomes “I Saw The Blight”. A song about the dilapidated neighborhoods in areas of Detroit.
Physcial by Olivia Newton John becomes “Fiscal”. Let’s get fiscal, fiscal. I wanna get fiscal, fiscal. Let me here your money talk, money talk.
Atlanta Lady by Marty Balin becomes “Mylanta Lady”. A young lady with stomach problems uses copious amounts of an over the counter stomach ailment remedy that she appropriates either by hook or by crook.
My Generation by The Who becomes “My Generator”. A song about a family’s gasoline powered backup generator that breaks down during a power outage while a raging blizzard is taking place in the middle of rural Manitoba.

Do you want the government to control every aspect of your
life from the moment you are born until the time you die?

or have your family make decisions about what kind of

Morris has revealed a two part Democratic
Deal to Defraud America.
First, the House will pass the Senate
ObamaCare bill and Pelosi will not allow amendments or
modifications.
Second in secret behind closed doors,
Reid and Pelosi have agreed in principle that changes to
the
Senate bill will be made to satisfy liberal House members -
but
only after the Senate bill is passed and signed into law by
Obama.
Morris continued and said, A Senate source
cautions: "Senators more than House members and both more
than
ordinary people, lie."
This is outrageous and exactly what voters

The deal is secured by a pledge from Reid
and the Senate's Democratic caucus that they will make
"fixes" to
the Senate bill after it becomes law with Obama's John
Hancock.
According to Morris's source, Reid will
provide to Pelosi a letter signed by 52 Democratic senators
indicating they will pass the major changes, or "fixes,"
the
House Democrats are demanding. Again, these fixes will be
approved by the Senate only after Obama signs the Senate
bill
into law.

Pelosi said "Regardless of Massachusetts, it

Trusted Gallup polls tell the truth and 72%
say Brown's election reflects many Americans' frustrations,
which
the president and members of Congress should pay attention
to and
Americans widely agree that the election result has
national
political implications.

victory in Tuesday's U.S. Senate election in Massachusetts,
the
majority of Americans (55%) favor Congress' putting the
brakes on
ObamaCare.

Obama and the Democrats in Congress must
realize they are to blame. They were given power 14 months
ago
on Nov 4th, 2008 when they told us to vote for the Hope of

year in office. The American people however in Virginia,

Jersey and just yesterday Massachusetts -- have given him
an "F".
Even Juan Williams of Fox News an Obama supporter gave him

incomplete and said Americans have given him a D. By all
measures Obama is on track to be the worst president in
American
history. He only has himself to blame for his dismal record
