The mainstream media and most levels of government are over reacting to the Swine Flu. More than likely we are going to see a repeat of the 1976 scenario where more people died from the flu vaccine than the flu itself.

This hysteria and paranoia that has resulted from the over reaction by the media and government is starting to meet with some opposition. You must educate yourself about the tyranny that is starting to take root in this country. The Healthcare “Deform” plan that has been unleashed upon America by Democrat Max Baucus of Montana is a joke. Force people to buy health insurance or face stiff fines? The government can’t even run the Post Office, Medicare, Socialist Security or dozens of other major departments and programs. How can anyone honestly expect the government to efficiently run health care in this country?


Where does the President come off telling current New York State Governor Paterson that he should step down and not run for office in the next election? And every time I turn on the television it seems as though this egomaniac is a guest on another television show trying to hawk one of his hair brained schemes, unworkable or budget busting plans. Let’s hope he is going to be a one term President.


The City of Kansas City seems to think it can support a National Hockey League team despite the fact the area has no real history of supporting minor league hockey and a lack of organized leagues at the local level including high school. Judging by the sparse crowd that showed up at the Islanders and Kings exhibition game at the Sprint Center in late September (9,800 fans) it is obvious it will be another decade or two before the Kansas City area can support a professional hockey team. Until more northern transplants from hockey country move into the area and then local leagues are organized to get kids involved at a young age, pro hockey will not take root or get the support it needs to make it there.


Look at how the media distorts the facts and twists the reality of the alleged flu pandemic in the following story. The H1N1 is a very mild strain and has not mutated into a very virulent form. All indications are it will not at least this flu season, yet it is the government and flu companies with help from the media that are trying to create a mountain out of a mole hill all because they want to sell flu shots. Story. More people died from the Swine Flu vaccine of 1976 than the flu itself. I believe we are going to see a replay of that event if the media and government keeps pushing the flu vaccine and FORCES people to take a shot. If this keeps up people are going to rebel and fight back...
