What We Are
WILW Radio was founded by William C. Walker and Drew
Papanek Jr. in 1978 as a community radio station in the
Hartford, CT suburb of Simsbury. Fast forward to 2009
and now WILW Radio provides a variety of services
to legal community AM radio broadcasters.
WILW Radio is
now nationally recognized for its work in both the proposed
licensed LPAM radio service and Part 15 AM radio service.
From our origins as a high school radio station during the
late 1970s and early 1980's WILW Radio has grown into a
group committed to fostering the growth of legal unlicensed
and licensed low power, community broadcasting throughout
the United States.
What
We Do
We sell the Hamilton Rangemaster transmitter and offer
additional services to our customers after the sale such as
installation, support and syndicated programming choices.
