This post is primarily directed at my naysayers, no matter the location.  I’ve been listening to some of the gossip you’ve been throwing around about me and I will address it here with the hope that at least someone here reads this and gets the message.  

Many of you are wondering why I have not been out looking for a job or girl friend.  Well for starters I have spent the last three plus months packing, selling and moving from my old house to Hartford City.  I have had a lot of work to do here including having contractors in to do work and also, doing some of the work inside and outside the home myself.  I had to make a lot of runs with my car and a mini van to pick up personal property in a storage unit two hours away from here and that also consumed a lot of my time.  I have spent countless hours working on the flea powered radio station that will hit the air here later this month.  I plan to turn it into a business.  In other words I’ve been very busy trying to get this home in habitable shape and get prepared to stay here.  

Believe it or not I am going to start looking for employment here this week.  I now have the time to work full time again now that the other work is done or at least most of it.  Unfortunately I will have to concentrate on working to pay down some debt over the next six months to a year before I can consider a social life of any kind.  I will also be working on developing the Part 15 AM radio station into a viable service for the town and that takes time and money.  Thus everything else is on the backburner until my debt is wiped out allowing me some free time and requiring less work to make ends meet.  And I may date a woman again if I meet someone I believe is compatible and shares some of the same values and hobbies and interests as I.

Who are you to judge me?  Honestly, I don’t know what business it is of yours as to why I have not been working or out chasing women.  Hope this little information post helps you realize that sometimes there are more important priorities in life than simply having a good time and leading a hedonistic lifestyle.  With some luck WNKC AM 1700 will be on the air over Memorial Day weekend in Hartford City and I hope I will have a full time job by then as well.
