Former New York Giants backup QB Jared Lorenzen passed away July 3rd at the age of 38. Lorenzen was a backup to Eli Manning for four seasons including the 2007 Season culminating with a Super Bowl Victory and Ring for Lorenzen. He played four seasons for the Giants before being released in 2008.  

Lorenzen was one of the most prolific passers in the history of University of Kentucky football. Nicknamed the "Hefty Lefty" and the "Pillsbury Throwboy", Lorenzen didn't let his size get in the way of being able to quickly move around the pocket and run with the ball and throw on the run.
